BRCA1,2-TISSUE

BRCA1,2-TISSUE

The gene expression kit is designed to detect 16 somatic mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes and is used in the diagnosis of hereditary forms of breast, ovarian, pancreatic, and stomach cancer. The test allows predicting the course of the disease and determining an effective treatment strategy with both targeted medication and various chemotherapy programs.

Advantages

  • Beside the 8 most common mutations, the kit identifies 8 additional mutations, widely spread in Eurasia*.

*Information on the frequency of hereditary mutations in the genes of the DNA repair system (homologous recombination repair, HRR) is taken from the oncoBRCA database, obtained as part of the “Hereditary Syndromes in the Russian Federation” project, https://oncobrca.ru/
